David Cottingham - "Christian" - Producer - Editor
David plays the central character in 12 STEPS NOWHERE, Christian. He is a man who has to overcome a serious addiction to get back the one woman he truly loves. David not only stars in the film but is also it’s producer. David grew up in Northern Kentucky within the city of Newport. He attended Newport Central Catholic High School and got his degree in business at the University of Kentucky.

He began acting in 1999 with several appearances in local and national commercials as well as roles in independent films. In late 2000, David’s passion for acting and producing led him to help found Twenty One Productions, a production company dedicated to independent films. His first production, CLOSURE, found its way into several local and national independent film festivals in early 2001. He followed that film with 2 more shorts, IN PASSING and a short in which he wrote the screenplay for, FOREVER THERE. In the fall of 2001, he began to produce his first feature, THE MIDNIGHT. It was also his first time both producing and starring in a movie. During that time he began working with Post Time Productions, a full service digital video production company, helping produce local and national commercials and video projects. He did all this still maintaining his position as head of Twenty One Productions.

Following The Midnight, David once again took on roles as both producer and lead actor for 12 STEPS NOWHERE. In 2003, David expanded Twenty One by taking on 2 more short films for director Todd Broder and B3 Pictures. OLDHAM COUNTY was first and followed it by producing WHAT ADAM KNOWS, which filmed in New York. In late 2004 David took to cowriting and producing the short film A SECOND MORE and in early 2005 went back to New York to produce a 16 mm short film titled, SOUTHERN GENTLEMEN for director Jared Smith.
